Former car park developed into new build – 21 apartments with in retail in the ground floor.

Mitcham Road, Croydon London CR0

On this exciting project we worked hand in hand with the Croydon Council and Housing Association. The project was presented by them to us, with an extremely tight budget, considering the amount of work that was needed to take place. We managed to overcome the issue of the tight budget and not only produce stunning, bright apartments, but we also managed to produce fantastic, open commercial units.

The location of the project brought its own problems. Lombard House is located directly next to a major roundabout, meaning the logistical side of the project took extensive planning. We needed to ensure our material deliveries had no issues accessing the site and also the entry and exit points for the contractors were easily available at all times. Working extremely closely with the Croydon Council, we once again managed to overcome the logistical challenge and the outcome of the project speaks for itself.

Not only have we given the housing association a beautiful building, but we have also lifted the expectations of future developments within the local area. With out stunning new development we have made the area a better place to live for not only the existing residents but also for the new families that would be looking to move into the community.
